I am wondering why no one has submitted any T.G. info for the 5 digit talk groups that on the Mobile county P25 system? By my count, there are at least 44 5 digit talk groups that aren't even listed on the Mobile county page. All are 65xxx series numbers. Any one?? I don't live over there so it is difficult for me to ID them. I kind of wonder if they could be "crossover" talk groups with AFRN as the highest talk groups so far on AFRN are 64xxx series.

Because of your post I did a TG search yesterday and found 50 TGs with 30 or so being 5 digit groups. Some are crossover groups in my search several show up as old TG:5 digit TG, 1044:65434 for example. However, I haven't had enough time to listen to them to even guess what the 5 digit groups are attached to.

On many systems talkgroups in the 65000-65536 range are dynamically generated by the system and used temporarily for patching or other funcions. You should not submit them unless you run Unitrunker on the system and verify if they are real or patch talkgroups.

I think a lot of people have stopped submitting TGID's because they fear it will cause the agency to encrypt, and to be honest, if someone cant "find" those TGID's for themselves, do they really need to be listening to them?
When you publish those TGID's you are also publishing SSN's, lockbox and gate codes, hidden key locations, ETA and location of police responding to burglaries, domestic violence calls, and much more to EVERYONE including violent criminals
