TDMA. Two voice slots per frequency.

D=FDMA (Digital)
DE=FDMA with Encryption
De=FDMA with partial Encryption
T=TDMA (Digital)
TE=TDMA with Encryption
Te=TDMA with partial Encryption
M=Mixed (Analog/Digital)

Yes, TDMA utilizes 2 Slots (or voice paths) per frequency, FDMA uses the the whole frequency bandwidth (1 path).

What does the mode designator "T" stand for?

If you see a T on a P25 system talkgroup, it is P25 Phase II. A D indicates Phase I.

The T means its a Phase II capable talkgroup and can also transmit Phase I. I have some T on a system and sometimes they're Phase II and sometimes they're Phase I.

Actually this is only correct if the system is set up to allow Phase I fallback; most are but some are not, so don't take it for granted.

Just wasn't sure that T also applied to two slot DMR...thought only P25 phase 2.
