Montebello FD should be goining over to Verdugo and become part of Area C by the end of this month or next.I know that Vernon FD now has Verdugo in their radios for auto aid runs with MTB.

Just a reminder that the switchover of Montebello FD to Verdugo occured this morning at oh seven hundred (well, that is what the page told me)

Montebello is now stations 56, 57, and 58 (was 51, 52, 53 under Downey Fire) and Care Ambulance is the ambulance company.

Be sure to listen to other new designations such as Batallion Chiefs, etc.

(also, have been noticing some new talkgroups in Montebello....anyone care to figure them out? 39xxx)

I think LA IMPACT (the multi jurisdictional police agency) has 75 radios on the Montebello Site....if it sounds like detective stuff, might be them

i listened to the talkgroup 39440 and the computer showed that it was scrambled transmissions so it has to be the detectives and it is coming in on the glendale half of the system as well as montebello. what is la impact???

Talkgroup 39456 on the glenadle cell has been pretty active to-day but it is all scrambled so that leaves me to believe that it is the la impact group. it hasnt come up on montebello which makes me think that they are performing an operations out of the area of the montebello site.

Well, if you look on the LA County page and their listed channels, you can see they had various 22 different labels like North 1 and North 2.....and some of them only worked in specific areas of the County since they were borrowed from different agencies. Consolidating on ICIS for countywide coverage probably made more sense....so I would expect they have a number of TGs....of course, with them being all encrypted, who knows if we will ever find out which is what.
