Monument Valley Trip

Hello. I’m driving up to Monument Valley this weekend from Phoenix. I’m good with AZ DPS and ADOT, etc, but I’m open to suggestions on what I should monitor once were in Utah. I’d also be open to anything local in Arizona along the Utah line.

How about tribal police and fire?

Tribal & San Juan County conventional are pretty active, as is UCA if you can hear Abajo Peak.

I haven’t seen anything listed for the tribal police or any kind of fire channels for SJ County. I checked conventional and the UTA analog trunked system. I’ll have to look again. Thanks.

San Juan County fire is probably on the sheriff repeaters. That would be good to know. The tribal frequencies are listed in the AZ counties even though use extends into Utah.

I’ll check around for the fire channels. Not as concerned with that as I am law enforcement. Never thought about checking Arizona for the tribal channels. I’ll definitely have a look at that. Good call!
