Moonraker Ltd GPA-80F with Ldgz100 plus

I'm heavily interested in this antenna and curious what you guys think about this combo? I'll be running 100 watts ft840 or ft991A. LMK GUYS!

That antenna is closely related to the Comet CHA250B which is simply a 5:1 transformer and about 23ft of tubing. These are very low performing antennas, dismal on 80, not as bad on 40, better on 20-10 but still nothing like using a tuned resonant antenna. I’ve talked to a few people that say good things about them like I made a 7,000mi contact but when I ask what they are comparing it to it’s the only antenna they have and don’t have anything to compare with. The people who have compared it to other antennas usually dump them rather quickly.

I have the DX commander now 40-6 on my 991a and that's been a hit.
Hoping to add something to get lower bands soon.
