Is there any type of antenna i can use with my HT1000 450 - 512 MHz radio besides one like this?

Maybe a stubby or other type?

i tried a 403 - 470 stubby, but it was always staticky on my 507.0625 chanel, and also 470.2125

Ahah! The longer whip tickling you armpit? Stubby's are about the only option. You could go with the public safety style handmike with the antenna attached, but those don't last very long in a harsh environment.

Antenna Frequency Range

I've got a spare public safety mic with an antenna on top that I use from time to time, and I use either the whip or the stubby. The stubby looks better in that it is shorter, but preformance is even further degraded because of the length of the mic cord already.
