Motorola APX Antenna use with a BCD436HP

Has anyone tried the Motorola APX all band antenna (Part no. KT000026A01) with the 436HP? Before I buy one I'm curious if this commercial grade antenna will provide better reception than some other antennas.

Yes but you would have to use a Male-Male SMA adapter to fit it, the APX uses female SMA on the antenna. The result would put too much stress on the radio's female SMA and you'd risk breaking it off.
