Motorola Astro Spectra rib box and cable

Hey everyone, how was your weekend?

I hope this is in the correct place. I am curious if this is what i need to program my Astro spectra A7 dash mount 50wiskys

The rib box and cable are from KAWAMALL.
I have found other cables that go from the radio to the ribbox for a lot cheaper but there high power models does that mater? for example check this one out:

but you see that one doesn't have that red wire sense thing...I bought the software from Mother /v\ now i just need the stuff to program the radio. got a power cord radio, mic speaker ignition sense cable dealio this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/251265790731?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

High power cable wont work with a dash mount. It needs to have the 12v on the accessory

And that 12 volts should be fused at 2 amps or less. You would not want to burn up your command board.

yes i just went through the same thing and as far as cords kawamall is the place to go for sure. the red wire is to simulate the ignition switch

I did, and that is like the factory one, it is missing one wire that powers the RIB.

It will work OK.

Let us know if you have any problems.
