Motorola CP185 Radios Companding and Expanding with MagOne BPR40

Hello, we recently had to reprogram all our CP185 radios, when doing this I enabled the companding an expanding feature. Everything works fine, but we need 2 more radios. Our solution is to reprogram 2 of our mag one radios we don't use any more. Will there be an issue between the CP185 radios with compainding and expanding , and the MagOne radios? It will only work between the cp185s and the mag one radios won't use it. They will talk to each other fine it's just commanding won't work when not talking to another cp185
