Hello everybody !
After successfull programming on amateur frequencies of VHF Spectra radio, the Receiver works just fine, but on transmit it is showing Fail-001 0n display and the "boop'' noise sounds , most probably the VCO needs some modifications in order to lock . May somebody help with advice ?
I tried with the 220 K resistor from pin -4 to GND, but no result. I have no diagram of VCO, and couldn't find any topics related to VCO modifications for VHF.
Sometimes it locks and transmitts on 144, but ''sometimes'' . ( All electrolitic capacitors ( time bombs) were changed ) . Strange is, that even on 150, 160 MHz frequencies the VCO can't lock immediately after PTT push, and also a boop sound is emmited ??
On UHFSpectra radio I can't modify the RSS ( spectra1.exe) with hex workshop as described, in order to shift the low freq from 440 to 430 MHz, can somebody help with this ?
Modification of VCO for it will need as well, I suppose ??
