Do they still use their conventional channel for anything. Whenever I look on the Burlington County live radio feed page here on RR the feed for that channel is still up and it always looks as if there's at least one person listening to it at the time. I don't hear anything on there anymore even when I have my radio on.

Listening Friday night and today through 1:30 pm I haven't heard but one comm from District 25. One car signed off out of the car for traffic control at a football game today. Nothing from 25 on CW lookup either. The activity is so great I don't know why you aren't hearing anything (grin).

I am too far east in the county to hear the local transmitter on simplex that is listed as a repeat of the TRS. I listen to Burlco all the time... will update this if I have something more definitive.

The original question was is 25 still using their conventional frequency? Apparently I'm too far east into the pines to hear those outputs...

I have not heard a thing on Medford's (dist 25) conventional channels in a long time. They use P-8 on the trunked system for normal operations.

No there not using the conventional channel anymore, there on the digital with moorestown full time now, but that does not mean they cant switch back and forth to each one sometimes, the whole county still has all kinds of conventional channels in their radios and sometimes they use them just too talk back and for to each other like a tac channel sometimes, but they have been dispatching on the digital for a while now!
