It has a very broad frequency range. Unless you want a handheld antenna.

I need it for a handheld unit
Two telescopics I'm currently using, both produce good results across all bands:
Comet BNC-W100RX
Diamond RH789
And of course a popular recommendation here for anything 700/800 is the Remtronix 800

If you use a longer antenna such as those recommended, be careful when it is extended. Moving quickly from the normal vertical position can put edxtra stress on the connector and break the solder joint over time.
Also make sure you collapse or remove it entirely if you place the radio on a table. If the radio gets knocked over or dropped, this could spell disaster for the connector and/or antenna if it lands the wrong way
