Your message is very confusing.

"Gander radio is coming in realy strong on 8918 mhz 13:17-z =1:17 pm my time"

1317Z is not 1:17PM Eastern. Until the clocks change tonight 1317Z is 9:17AM EDT.

8918 is part of the CAR-A (Caribbean area A) frequency set which Gander definitely does not operate on.

I would have swore that the person was saying Gander on 8918 MHZ Maybe I am wrong next time I will make a vidoe of it if it happens, As far as the time I made a mistake, I'm not very good going back and forth between utc and the normal time, that I have used since I was born.

I wonder if you heard New York giving flights heading northeast (oceanic) their next assigned primary and secondary HF frequencies and Gander was mentioned in those transmissions. Not at all unusual to hear (examples only) "At 44 and 1/2 north contact Gander Radio 8879 primary, 5649 secondary", or "Contact New York crossing <FIX>, frequency 8918 primary, 6585 secondary, Gander will be next". As a disclaimer though that wouldn't be typical on CAR-A or CAR-B, but more likely on NAT-A or NAT-E for hand-offs to either Gander or Santa Maria.

I Have to pay more attention to what is being said, it's been hard with the audio because I am using 75 feet of speaker wire and I get a lot of noise, I'm waiting for my loop antenna it's back ordered. I'm hoping to get better reception with the loop but conditions on the bands the last couple of days has been horrendous, I'm not used to the lingo they use on some of these frequencies and I think I jump to Conclusions of what I'm hearing, I have to slow down and pay more closer to what is being said. Thanks for the information.
