MWRTA DMR?

I use the MWRTA buses (Marlborough and Hudson) and I've seen XPR4550 mobiles in some of the buses, not sure what system they are on though. Are they on ICE TRBO? Or Comtronics? Does anyone have any info on these guys?

XPR4550 radios are either UHF or VHF, so not ICE or Comtronics 900.

Are they even using the radios for Voice or just the GPS Data ?
Might be tougher to search if only DATA/Telemetry...

As Gary points out the Spec Sheet for these is VHF or UHF, so that narrows it down a LITTLE

Might even be on a local radio shops system and not any of the big players.

Looking at their website, it's overall a pretty small operation. I think they probably are using somebody's radio system, but the question is who. There are certainly enough choices in the area of carriers who have sites on Nobscot Hill.

Hello,

They do have a license with a repeater.
ULS License - Industrial/Business Pool, Conventional License - WQZB338 - MetroWest Regional Transit Authority

A four watt repeater on 463.2875 with an antenna on top of their building in downtown Framingham will not likely go too far. They also have some simplex mobile frequencies.
