OK folks, I recently left the FD to pursue another job offer, and sold the radios I had in my truck. I missed hearing all the traffic so I went to Radio Shack and droppped the cash for some new toys. I bought a new 2055, and the TRC447 CB. ( I know, I know, a CB? ). Also have the Delphi Roady XT XM reciever installed. The floor plate, and brackets are made by Havis Shields I believe ( Don't remember, came out of an old law enforcement removal and install I did ). I already had roof mounts from the radios I had before so no one can tell me to man up & drill holes. I have no reservations about drilling holes..... Looks more professional. I have a Maxrad VHF 1/4 wave, and Moto 800 antenna running the scanner, and a glass mount RS CB antenna. Ignore the Sirius antenna, haven't had time to rmove it. The XM antenna is the one at the drivers door, and it is in use. I have come to realized that the CB antenna is not worth what I spent on it, so I am planning on replacing it soon. Anyway, here are some pics. They aren't that great, having some issues with my camera. Any feedback is appreciated !!!!

Thanks!! The next planned investments are a Pro2096, and a mount for my laptop. Just trying to decide what kinda mount I want to get for my laptop. Something non-intrusive that can be removed easily. The only time I use the laptop in the truck is for trips. I have Delorme software, and the Delorme LT20 GPS reciever for mobile mapping. Works pretty well, just hate having the laptop sitting on top of the console next to me. Have to take my eyes off the road to see it, and takes up my arm rest.

The Moto mic used to go to a hard install kit for my i90. I recently upgraded to the ic902, and took the cradle for the 90 out. The "brain box" is still mounted under the dash. just haven't made it that far. Started a new job on 3rd shift, and haven't had the time to take the rest of the old stuff out.

Thanks for looking !!
