Barely any encryption on the local county systems here. Mostly admin & ERT stuff. Most Public safety units have MDTs (laptops) that communicate most of their information to keep radios clear for important/time sensitive comms. Plus, arlington isnt exactly the crime capital of the world, so there is alot of dead air. You should be able to pick up DC & possibly PG from there. That should keep your speaker busy.
