I made these about 10 years ago at a bud's house.

I should've gotten into the scanner stand biz. They are great. Viewing angle is great. Rock steady, etc.

Anyway, just thought I'd share the design so you can make one. I used a sheet-metal bending machine and a de-burr tool to smooth the edges.

Enjoy.

Why don't you sell some on eBay (in in the RR for sale forum)! I'd buy one.

I only made those two at my bud's house during a visit. He made the first few originals and then coached me through making mine.

If I had the tools, I'd certainly make some more.

Thanks,

Andy

Cool! Much more professional than mine, which I made out of a broken conveyor system part, the top to a broken honing stone, and a dremeled picture hanger thingy :D

Not bad (actually very good) Kevin for using old broken parts (or even new parts.).... BTW what is that oldie but goodie in the background of your pic?

Also Andy your's look very good. I am not sure what type of tools you used in making them but I would consider buying them if they were not too expensive. It is a very untapped market.

Aaron,

That's what I thought when I made mine. "Bud, these would sell!" (10 years ago). He brushed off the idea as a bother. I guess I did too.
