This was audio picked up over my police scanner of a high speed chase (+100 mph) somewhere near Federal Way (I think). In it, you can hear officers talking about the PIT maneuver and police helicopter over head directing the chase. Spike strips are also laid out, but fail to stop the driver. Eventually, the driver and two passengers bail and a foot chase ensued. Time and date: 1:00 AM, Sunday, September 17, 2006. This was one of the coolest things I've ever heard over my police scanner.

Thanks for watching!

LOL. I was wondering why you kept pressing keys on the scanner. Now I know.

It's a trunking system, but you just kept finding the active freq using a conventional search. Funny.

Not a bad chase. Pretty good job by the officers calling it.

I love the scanner video and welcome to RR. From the other videos that you posted on YouTube, You really should not be posting your “How to make a bomb” video and showing random things blowing up; especially the one the showing how you made that pipe bomb.

yah, i'm a noob at scanner stuff. don't understand trunking yet, so i had an extremely hard time staying with the conversation lol.

o yah, and about the pyro stuff on my youtube: just ignore it. i just video taped that, i'm in no way a pyro . . . just a photoagrapher and future "stringer" lol (a stringer is someone who chases breaking news stories). did you see my other vids with the police stuff?

cool videos... just invest in a trunking scanner and you will be set.
By the way stringers are fun to listen to :)

Instead of taping it i reccomend Audicity. It's a recording program that works right from your computer and it's free! You can export the sound files into Mp3 too. (Or whatever format works best for you)
