Believe it or not , I took a medium sized metal book end stand that is used to hold a row of book from falling over and just bent it in a couple of places and it works great.

Most of the agencies that I listen to are on the APCO 25 system and the RS 800 antenna come in crystal clear. Denver PD and some of the surrounding areas are on EDACs and I have no problem getting this signal perfectly.

I am even able to monitor towns way north of my area up to 60 miles away on APCO 25 with no issues.

I found a pair of bookends at Walmart that have angled slots in them. Much like some of the mobile universal mounts. Will work great for two mobile type scanners of same width like the 2055 and 2096. or a Uniden pair. Less than $7 I think. No, I didn't buy them yet, maybe when my 2055 comes back from the infamous display repair.

So, give us a pic of the mounting of the scanners please?
