I went into my forums profile, and reduced the number of threads in "My Subscriptions" to 7 threads.

But when I click Forums...Your Threads, I see what looks like every thread I've ever participated in. I was hoping to just see the 7 threads from above.

Are these two not the same? I figured unsubscribing from a thread would also remove it from "Your Threads".

Thanks in advance...

every thread I've ever participated in

Every thread you've ever participated in? Or every thread you've ever started?

Typically in vBulletin, "My Threads" shows threads started by you.

"Your Threads" is really just a search for all the posts you've made, but the results are shown as threads, not individual posts. It has nothing to do with the Subscribed Threads function. The only way you'd be able to remove entries from "Your Threads" would be to physically delete all the posts you've made.

Subscribed threads are the ones you have either started, posted in, or joined manually. Removing them from your subscribed list, just removes your subscription and thus what action is taken when other replies happen in those threads. Your actual posts are always a part of your history here on the site and you cannot remove them, the "Your Threads" menu choice is similar to looking at your statistics from your user profile. Note that currently those are only showing the last 250.

I now remember why this is still a little confusing, although I think I can guess why.

On the full website, "My Threads" shows me every thread I've participated in, which is different than "My Subscriptions". That's not my preference, but I guess that's the way vBulletin works.

On the mobile website, "My Threads" behaves just like "My Subscriptions", which is preferable to me. That must be the way WiForums works.
