Unidentified NDOR talkgropus

I do a lot of driving for my job and was passing through York the other day and I picked up 60483 with a strong signal. It sounded like NDOR road crew directing and looking out for traffic. Could this be District 4 York shop? Did not here anybody talking on the way back to omaha later in the afternoon. I also found these around Grand Island, York and Lincoln in the past month 60409, 60433, 60481, 60484, 60485, 60511, and 60528. I'm wondering if a lot of these have to do with NDOR shops with crews out mowing the grass along the interstate.

I have 60433 listed in my notes as sounding like road works related as well. Didn't write down the tower, but it would have been one of the Omaha/Lincoln area ones.

Could include Pawnee county as well. Pawnee county is dispatch by Johnson county. Read an article a while back about Pawnee county possibly switching to the SRS.

I also heard 55700 yesterday. I was heading south on Hwy 77 between Lincoln and Beatrice and caught the tail end of the conversation. The day before that, somebody was saying "testing 3 2 1" on 55700. I also picked up a 60101. The 2 people were talking about meeting in the Hwy 77 and Hwy 41 area. One of them mentioned about how nobody can listen to them even though that they are not using a encrypted talkgroup.

57100 has been submitted to me from the western panhandle. Its being referred to as "statewide".

The audio traffic couldn't be made out on who it was by "SO" was heard - and the unit number by the mobile station was long. I am trying to see if he can send me an audio file.

57100 falls into the numbering scheme as Kimball County (71 County) if that helps.

It would make sense for what he sent me. I’m curuous if NE implemented “travel” talkgroups when units go out of area as not to tie up other sites with dispatch traffic. I’m guessing that’s what it is. Colorado and some other states do this.

Kimball co did purchase XTL5000s (old NSP radios) from the state. They might be migrating to the system or they might only use it when they travel outside their conventional Repeater's range. There for they might call it statewide but its their talk group.

I can confirm that 55700 is Johnson County. I heard police traffic a few times. Never got the location of where they were at though. The dispatch was being referred as "Tecumseh". I can't remember the officer's number (700 or 818), but was telling Tecumseh that he was 10-8.

Its is Sheriff or local police (or is all county LE on one talkgroup?)

I couldn't tell you if it is separate talkgroups. I just was passing through and didn't know the location of the police cars. A lot counties in Nebraska do not have a lot of police activity. Next time when I'm in the area, I will try to find out more.

Johnson county Sheriff should be the only 'local' law enforcement agency in Johnson county. Last I heard they still have a contract with Tecumseh.

60460 - District 4 DOC?
60471 - District 4 by Columbus, Fairmont, Burt County?
60473 - District 4 on I-80 west of Aurora, by Geneva.
60483 - District 4. Dewitt spur. Hwy 4 East and West. Edgar Spur. Busy talkgroup
60484 - District 4. Around Guide Rock, around Hwy 4.

I wanna say that ID 60471 is DOT from Clay county. I heard two people talking about tree brush 6 miles east of Edgar. 60414 is coming from Beatrice. I saw a plow truck on Hwy 8 and Hwy 112 when I was driving past and heard on my scanner 10 minutes later the plow drivers location. 60430 MIGHT be DOT Burt County. 60408 might be DOT Saunders County. ID 51603 is Seward county Law. Not sure if it is the seward county police department or the sheriff. Last week I heard dispatch telling law enforcement about an Alarm at the Seward Country Club

add 60126 and 60127 to that. Sounded like a quick radio test with the same op on both TGs

A TGID 60411 was very active today from the Lincoln North tower site. Sounds like Car/Car - Flaggers for a construction zone. I was driving between Omaha and Lincoln. Don't know if it was road construction on HWY 79 north of Lincoln or road work being done on HWY 31 near Ashland /Gretna or the HWY 63 in western cass county
