A couple of possibilities here - did you check all of the frequencies, in case someone allocated a new control channel that was previously a voice channel?

Did they move to the DoD site (a logical possibility)? ...Mike

That's the site that has gone quiet, the JNCR Pax River site, and no I haven't done any band searches. Need to do that next. Thanks folks.

Hmmm, PAX River Police were active today on their JNCR TG, received while driving in PG County.

Thought you were talking of a site other than JNCR. I have been getting the Pax Police, the airfield ops, etc just fine on JNCR, through the Naval Academy site.

Don't know why they wouldn't be coming thru the Pax site if they are associating with the USNA site. They have been anything but silent over the past couple days.

Maybe they've changed something in the configuration to limit that site coverage (after all, they really don't need anyone outside of Pax to hear the site...) Mike

Had same here.

System seems to be back up and running now.

Any ideas what happened?

Perhaps the local site control channel changed temporarily? That would affect some scanners that were not configured / provisioned to follow new control channel frequencies, but would not affect other sites. I never lost reception of the system, but I received it from a networked site in PG, not in the Pax River area. Somebody else mentioned that they monitored Pax traffic on the Naval Academy site.

I will often pick up Pax River, Dahlgren, and Navy Yard talkgroups from the Indian Head Tower.
