On the Marine page of the USA National Database, the AIS channels are labeled "Marine-AIS 1" for Alpha Tags. Why aren't they labeled 87B, 88B, etc? Most of the time I always see the AIS channels referenced that way...

When they were VOICE Channels they would have been labeled that way, not it's AIS-1 and AIS-2 and the duplex pair of 3 and 4

The old "B" channels were for simplex communications with shore stations. Since 87B and 88B are no longer used for that, they removed those channels name from the roster.
