What happened to Nat Grids 800 system in Albany ? I scanned the entire system 856.2875-856.3625 and no control channel. I do have the digital channels 153.515/545/605/650 in and they work fine but no more Mot 800 ? NF2G'S site was down so I couldn't see if there were any updates

I thought it was just my connection. I'll have to see what happened to my domain.

Anyway, someone else mentioned that NG's 800 system was down and I haven't heard anything on it lately, either. It was carrying gas traffic primarily, and now I hear many gas leaks being dispatched on UHF, so maybe they decided that they didn't need 800 MHz any more.

The frequency range of operation did not require rebanding, so I don't think they've had to move it.

I lost the system a couple of weeks ago, at least the Bald Mtn. system. I figured the company was going with VHF P25.
