Several marines on guard duty using the I call feature to discuss....well...some things that are definitely NOT related to their duties :)

My favorite one was 'I see the Sergeant of the guard coming so I will not talk for a little while'

Please tell me what sort of scanner you have and where you live in relation to NAS Patuxent River - I might be able to help you.

I am sorry to say that you cannot trunk track the Patuxent River MD system with your scanner. You can, however, monitor the system in the conventional mode of operation using your scanner.

You can trunk track the county of Calvert - and you can scan the Patuxent River 400 MHZ trunked system in the _conventional_ mode. That is about all you can do with your scanner (other than the various conventional frequencies around you).

The county of Saint Mary's is trunked EDACS - so your scanner cannot trunk track them and the county of Charles is Digitial, so your scanner cannot monitor them at all.

If money isn't a large issue, and you wish to monitor other stations, you may consider upgrading to a newer scanner.
