Now I'm sure it's been said before, but is this repeater going to be taking over for 33.8200 and 453.7750? Or is it just going to be for Navarre FD?

I don't know if anyone else besides Navarre will use this repeater; Beth Twp would make sense due to their proximity to Navarre. It will definately not replace the 453.7750 repeater which is currently only used directly by Brewster; all others are heard via the patch to 33.8200

On a related note Canal Fulton & Lawrence Twp have now moved all operations to the 453.4125 repeater; they can no longer be heard on 33.8200

With Navarre moving to UHF, this leaves only Beth Twp, Beach City, and Wilmont left on the old county low band 33.8200

Ahh, I see. I was wondering because I hear Brewster, Navarre, Beach City, Wilmot and Beth on 453.775. I didn't know it was just patched.

I think I heard Beth FD being dispatched the other night for a call on the new repeater. I'm still hearing traffic on the other repeater though. Anybody know the current status?

2 possibilities:

1. Beth is using the new repeater
2. The new repeater is also patched to 33.8200

My BC250D that i use at work is at Uniden for repair. When I get it back, I'll try to log the DPL again. I definately got 047 back on 9-11-06; I logged it several times. It was the 460.3625 repeater that you got 114 on right? The 453.7750 repeater uses 114.

Anyone know if it is possible to use 2 DPL tones on the same repeater; one for each of two different users?

Yes. Very common with business repeaters; not so common for public safety but is not at all difficult to do.

Yep, I've got 114 on 460.3625.

Please forgive me. The DPL I am currently using for this frequency is 411. All I ever hear is Beth FD though. I'm going to leave it in the search mode and see what comes up.

I believe that Navarre's PD got a repeater for 155.745. It sounds pretty good to, but I believe just that part of the county is using it though.

I just got my BC250D that I use at work in Canton back from Uniden repair today. I work a day car Thursday and 24 on Friday so I'll set it up for tone search and see what I get. I have not had any luck hearing any traffic on this repeater from home in Robertsville. I got the DPL of 047 on 9-11-06 at work when they were testing tones but if they are using a different DPL for each user I will have to wait and hear units being dispatched before I can match the DPL to the FD.

155.745 is the old Jackson Twp PD repeater frequency that has been used (in simplex unless they have changed) by all of the PD's being dispatched from RED Center since Stark County SO stopped dispatching everyone on the 155.43 repeater. Recently Lawrence Twp PD moved off of this frequency and onto the Stark TRS system. However, several other PD's still use this frequency. PL is 114.8

Yeppers, Lawrence is with Canal Fulton PD on the TRS. I was an explorer with Jackson PD back when they were on 155.745. I will be working midnites tonight so I'll be listening to Navarre's traffic. I have noticed that there is a repeater on 155.745. I think it's just in the Navarre area though.

OK, I can concur that Beth FD is using this repeater, 460.3625, with a DPL of 411. It sounds like they are using it directly and not via a patch to 33.82 I have heard them twice today. I still have yet to hear Navarre get toned out to see what DPL they are using.

I would hope Navarre is using this repeater; after all it is licensed to them. I will leave my scanner on unattended logging when I am not at work just to see if I can log any DPL or PL other than 411.
