Need help programming BCD996T

I'm trying to program one of these with FreeSCAN and have not had much luck yet. I am able to connect to the scanner fine and upload/download but apparently I am still doing something wrong.

More specifically I am trying to load this system:

You need to tell us what problem you're experiencing. For starters, are you properly following FreeSCAN's three-step select/copy/paste process?

Yes I am using the EZ Grab process and it appears to be loading everything correctly.

I found a couple of newbie guides here:

and have read them and it appears I've loaded the information correctly but it seems to never pick anything up. And I know the channels are heavily used.

You're missing a few steps here...(anything in blue is a link)

First, get yourself a premium subscription as described here...

then follow the steps using FreeScan's RR trunk import function - that will build the system for you. Make sure you check the system type and other settings before uploading...

EZ Grab is nice, but that's a trunk system he's trying to import - and it won't set system parameters - just copies frequencies, ect.

Do you have the system/site type set correctly and trunk frequencies loaded? If you want you can PM or email me your .996 file and i can tell you if anything is wrong.
