Need Low profile Mobile antenna

I am looking for a good High VHF Low profile antenna to be used on the roof of my 2007 Dodge Durango. I have a Larsen Tri Band which is around 13" tall, but would like something maybe around 6" tall, because of my garage door being so low. Any ideas what would work? Since your limiting the mounting option to just your roof & the antenna has to be less then 13' tall, "no pun intented" but that's a very tall order. Here goes. Note the extremely limited bandwidth that these antennas are set for. Good luck.

How well do these type of antennas work? Has anyone had good luck with them? It will only be a recieve only antenna.

if it is only a Rx antenna, go with a Phantom. They are short and stout, and will perform quite well when surrounded by metal (good ground plane).

I agree with code3cowboy, the phantom antenna should do the job perfectly for RX only. However, it almost looks like a funky GPS antenna, and is about the size of a coke can, and you can get them in black or white, depending on your preference.
