Hey there, i`ll be heading to the Dayton Hamvention, and i`m wondering if anyone here would be able to (at least) point me in the right direction here, as i`ve looked in the DB and found nothing so far, what i need are the freqs for the Harra Arena (where the Hamvention is held). I know they do use radios there, just haven`t found the freqs yet and would like to be able to listen to `em when i`m not at the event, just for kicks. Thanx! N9NRA

Merchants provides security for Hamvention. they can be found using their F3
461.0500 103.5 PL and the input on simplex 466.0500.

Food vendors at Hara use the low power itinerant frequencies 154.570, 154.600 etc.

If Hara itself uses anything I have never heard them.

Hamvention leases their radios each year, so they are always changing year to year.

Stop by the AOSC booth #435 in Ball Arena, after we are there to monitor a bit we should have what is being used nailed down.

Nope, loud and clear in analog. To say there is a lot of stray RF at Hamvention is a gross understatement, at any given point you can hear anything.

After talking with several others at our booth here today, they appear to using MotoTRBO now. So yes indeed you were hearing digital transmissions.
I was hearing them in clear analog on their F3 461.4375.
