What do you guys think about these cabinets? I stopped using the Centracom consoles and built some cabinets. I have a little more room now. The Centracomm consoles are still on the room but just house some rack mount power supplies and extra radios. The first pic is how it is now, the last one is when I was first setting it up. The cabinet enclosures on each end have 19" racks in them for power supplies and stuff.

Damn, Jody. You are inspired. I want to be in your will:D I'm surprised that Caleb hasn't said anything yet.

Beautiful!

That looks beautiful. Is this in your home or in the outbuilding you build for radio monitoring? Not that I have been following your posts with extreme jealosy or anything. :)

Seriously, I have been criticized for spending more time arranging and rearranging my radios for optimal comfort so I really appreciate the work you have done. Very nice.

Maaaaan !!! Some kids have all the cool toys !!! Have you considered drilling access holes to run the cords/cables through the desk ? Your power bars may have mounting holes that allow you to attach them under the desk so it doesn't sit on the carpeting.

Lotsa radios, huge desk, couch for lounging........we need some hi res pics !

thanks for all the kind comments-

with a little patience something like this isn't that hard to build. Cool thing about it is you can make it just how you want it.

Every picture I have seen of your shack is outstanding!

Is that a sofa you have in there???
It puts some home theaters to shame!!!

You have also inspired me to go out and upgrade my old leather recliner to a much nicer one!

Regards, Commscanaus.
