We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

I just got this off of e-bay. Fujji Fine Pix S3. It uses all Nikon F mount lenses and is a Pro grade crop sensor body. Built in vertical release and uses CF cards or micro drives.

S3 Pro? Looks good!

Had to research it myself. Wiki: "Like the S5 which superseded it, the S3 gained popularity amongst numerous, professional Wedding Photographers for its ability to more accurately render skin tones and for its wide dynamic range, compared to comparable digital cameras of its time."

The specs look nice on that camera I've been a Minolta, Canon guy myself. My latest is a 7D I find the lenses and good quality filters to be a plus.

I know very little about Nikon, so this was good to get me looking at 'that other brand' =:^]

I blew the shutter on my Canon 1DMkIII, so am back to my 1DMkIIn which is about the same vintage as this S3 Pro. May not be the latest, but still takes great photos as long as you know it's limitations.
