New DMR Quick Import for Sentinel

I've recently completed several updates to the Digital Frequency Search website I launched to search for DMR authorized entities in your area. If you haven't checked it out lately, you might head over and take a look around.

Yesterday, I created an updated tool for importing into Sentinel. I hope this will really help everyone out. Also, I think you will benefit from the import instructions even if you don't find anything you want to listen to.

This import format resolves the issue of trunked control channels slowing down scans when programmed as conventional channels. It also allows a better way to import frequencies to create trunked DMR systems.

I could use some help. I got the updated software installed but I am having a hard time getting the freq programmed into my 436. could someone help me on how to get them in the radio.

Are you programming from the radio or using Sentinel? It's going to be much easier using Sentinel.

i did the import for my area for the 436, i am curious some have blue light activated what does that mean?

With the bcdx36hp scanners, you can set color alerts on tg or freqs. The site creator just happened to set the dmr thats imported into sentinel to blue. They can be changed or turned off...
