• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

Stuck in traffic on I-25
I have recieved information that at the end of this week, CSUPD will be getting a new Tac channel programmed into their radios. I do not have information on the network ID for though, so everyone keep your eyes and ears open for the new ID.

I believe the new ID is 4082. I heard what sounded like car to car pd traffic on that TG last evening, and while running pro96comm overnight, the CPU-PD radios affiliated on that TG several times.

4024 CSU PD Dispatch
4082 CSU Tac Ch-2
4083 CSU Tac Ch-3

But from the sounds of it the Tac channels get very little use, except for traffic detail at football games and such.

The info regarding CSU on TGID 4082 and 4083 is correct.

I have also logged TGID 4075 off of the Horsetooth Tower but it is not frequent enough for identification of the user.

Has anyone got more info on TGID 4075?

Thanks and 73,

Spud
