• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

I recently transcribed a recorded rollcall on 168.1125 nbfm (NAC68F) of the New England Federal 25-City Comm Center System. The rollcall was conducted by "FBI Boston Central". The agencies participating in the rollcall are listed below. Each numbered (my numbers) agency is listed as it was pronounced over the air and in the order it was called. Less than half the agencies actually responded to the rollcall. I first posted this list to Al Stern's MilRadioComms Yahoo group where several members assisted with the translation of a few of the alphabet soup agency names. I post the agency list here for those interested in monitoring federal radio communications.

I heard the test this morning on 168.1125 around 10am this morning. It took about 15 minutes to complete. I also heard a few transmissions on 409.9875 for about 5 minutes.

You might hear them from the Cape, all depends on your Antenna

However in the words of someone infamous, NFoDC :D

Good Band Opennings should also let you hear the CT FIO and the NY/NJ FIO
All run multiple Freq/Sites linked

Thanks to the OP for this (and everyone else's input). I'm on Cape Cod and I will see what I can hear from my QTH.
