• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

For an incident that is being investigated as an accident, and the lack of facts in the incident, I think your tittle is a little harsh and biased. I see why it raises questions and why the Ironton PD would step aside and let another agency investigate this, it is possible the man was in the road dead and snow covered to begin with. How the rest unfolds only time will tell........Hoser

Its possible that the officer heard or felt something and disregarded it as a hard clump of Ice that had fallen from another vehicle or a pot hole in the roadway, which are both common in snowy winter driving. So basically you would have used the same Tittle if it were a taxi cab or another motorist?? Im just saying that Capital punishment or murder although not excluded may or may not be in the facts which are under investigation.....Hoser
