New Homepatrol 2

I put my zipcode in and programmed fine but one channel which is p25 starts to talk then makes funny sound then goes silent any suggestions why I cant hear that channel. do I need to do some editing or is it encrypted.

It looks like it "should" be able to be heard. From what you are describing, it sounds like they have enabled encryption. The database should be updated to it's true status. Do you have anyone else around in the area that could also confirm?

I have a Home Patrol 2 and that is how they act when they receive an encrypted transmission.

Thank you for your replies. I was thinking it was encrypted. I guess I will delete it because it is really a annoying and kind of hurts the ears when it first comes on. Thank you again Terry
