Today is the first day I have noticed this, NLFD in th 11am hour did 3 test dispatch with an AI type voice dispatching, I am not sure how it works like I said today is the first day I heard this, i am wondering if anyone has any information on what New London is up to? I imagine this AI voice dispatching has to have some kind of human interface...................., there is still a dispatcher for routine transmissions

Seems like they have made the switch full time as they have been testing it off and on. It’s just for station alerting and initial dispatch units then sign on and human dispatchers take over. Generally it’s used for more busy departments such as Boston but honestly it’s not a bad idea and generally makes things easier once you get use to it.

What is "AI type voice dispatching"? There is automated voice dispatching/station alerting, but I have not heard of Artificial Intelligence being involved in any way.
