• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

I just picked up a PRO-97 and am having alot of fun with it. I have a PRO-2006 and PRO-43 that have always given me alot of enjoyment but I wanted to start listening to Trunked Systems.

I already loaded up the scanner with local freq's from NYC and Westchester off my old Police Call version 6 but everything I loaded onto the scanner is conventional FM.

Does anyone by chance have a CSV file or Win97 file they care to share that has some local police/fire/airport trunked frequencies?

Thanks for your help!

I don't know if or what software you are using to program but load up the new Westchester County trunk system. It has a number of fire depts. on it already as well as EMS. You can also listen in on the Bee bus line. I would also recommend you sign up for a premium membership here. Make sure the software you use can download directly from RadioReference and you're done.. Super simple. There is no better deal around than this site for freqs.
