Should be some good monitoring.

Aways wondered what it would be like to live near a hospital with an active helo pad. Guess I'm about to find out.

There is some traffic about this on GREEN 2. A West Metro ambulance was asking about which hospital to go to.

Also, the new St. Anthony's recently got a license for a repeater on 451.9625, but from what little traffic I've heard so far, it sounds like MotoTRBO.

WQNU691 is the only LMR license I can find for them, and it's for the 451.9625 repeater. They also have some low power 72 MHz licenses for a GPS clock system. But it seems they might have more than one MotoTRBO repeater. The Denver Radio Club just installed a ham repeater on the hospital on 447.825, and their website has some pictures of the installation on it:

Page 6 shows the repeater in the rack next to a rack containing what looks like two MotoTRBO repeaters and two Astro Spectra or XTL Consolettes. If you zoom in to the pic, I think the top consolette shows "SAC" as the channel name, which I'm guessing is DTRS TG 81. I can't make out what the bottom consolette shows, though.

West Metro just finished loading up the last patient from SAC - ambulances should be getting freed up soon.

DFD Truck-12 on scene at the old SAC ER entrance with a patient down, requesting an ambulance.

I've been playing with Ian Wraith's DMR decode utility on St. Anthony's 451.9625, and it's decoding some information.

I don't know too much about DMR/MotoTRBO, but from the program, they appear to be using Color Code 12, and I'm seeing a fair amount of group voice calls on timeslot 1 (channel 1, as the program calls it), group 100000. Unit ID's (source address) are like 15000, 12000, 10000, & 9000. I'm not seeing any indications of encryption or the "privacy" feature in use, but maybe I don't know what to look for...

The program is showing quite a few errors as well, and I think I need to attenuate the signal from the receiver's discriminator tap, so maybe that will help.

Anyone know if the above information is enough to program a MotoTRBO radio to try and listen?
