this is new (?) software for Airspy, RTL-SDR and HackRF SDRs.

I am seeing the claimed 600MHz/sec (598 actually) on my Airspy.

NOTE: the free version does not support channel naming, etc.

but --- this software looks very promising! I've had this loaded for all of 5 minutes -- just a bare metric for you ---- 225-380MHz is scanned in 0.3 seconds.

Tip: When you download it and run the app, there are 5 drop downs on the left side. go all the way to the bottom to select english.

Also trying it out.....works good....wonder what Pro version cost will be.

EDIT: Guess I spoke to soon, exited the program, then tried to restart. Now all I get is 'Not Responding'

This is really cool, thanks for the heads up.
I tested it, shows promise, but it also seems to have some issues at the moment, at least for the RTLSDR V4. Seems to pick up every birdie, and I've yet to have it detect any aircraft. Actually, the only thing I've picked up was the NOAA weather stations.

Regardless, I look forward to seeing how this develops. If they add DSD support for conventional frequencies, that would make this a game changer. As it sits, it might become a good method of quickly discovering frequencies you don't know.

Testing on Airspy 2, DPD Omni X and D130. Works well. I guess some rough edges have to be ironed out, but give Mykola time.
Civ Air from airport some 18 KMs clear, Analog Police on 485.xxx also clear. Yes, some birdies here and there but looks like to be my software on the Laptop for travel, Will wait for Pro version. Good work Mykola, stay safe. Loaded latest Zadig before starting program .

Ended up having to delete the files and extract them again from the zip file. All working OK now.

I already found a new local freq for Livingston ISD school buses, and submitted to the database.

Despite it not handling digital comms, i really like this app. I think the author has done a phenomenal job so far.

I'm running it on a remote machine and the resolution is so high on the machine that I have difficulty reading it. Is there any option for English across the board? Or are we stuck with whatever language it defaults as for now?

After selecting English, mine is all across the board, except for when you don't have a working dongle selected.

but lacks support for DMR, NXDN or P25

Excellent, I hope they can achieve that! But even if it remains analog only, it'll be nice, especially when they add recording. Could possibly see it being an option to finally import analog signals in apps like rdio-scanner. That would be a total gamechanger.

I've never seen a frequency scanning engine work as well as this. Although I think the audio produced on a fairly strong signal is marginal.
I extracted all the files to a folder, but the .exe won't launch.

Probably your antivirus. Did an antivirus message pop up or a window saying it won't run but you won't tell us? Because if it did, there would be an option to click on where you can then select to run it anyway.

What OS? Working on Win 10. Oh, what did you use to extract? If the lame Windows thing, try something like 7Zip .

What I would love is the ability enter in exact/specific frequencies of my choosing and have it scan across those and only stop on those if they are active. If that were a feature, this would be golden. The scan speed is awesome and it does a great job. But in my guess I have conventional frequencies in the counties all around me that are listed in the DB and have been for 10-20 years. I'd love to be able to just enter all of those into a list an scan them and only them, to determine if they are actually active or not.

Windows 11 Pro. 7 zip to extract. Get a common pop up box saying "Windows protected your PC". I click "Run anyway". Double clicking the exe file doesn't open anything. I've seen the "Windows protected your PC" message with other apps, but clicking "run anyway" always works.

Thinking along those lines how about adding a scan range and making the range tight enough to approximate the actual freq you want, add a range for each freq you want making each range tight and actively scan those ranges you have added. I haven't had the time to try this myself but maybe this would work.
