My wife wanted a new office and the girls wanted a bedroom with a closet. So it was time to move the old office to the downstairs bedroom along with the hamshack. here are a few pics of the new shack...

wher did you buy those big silver or gray mics

The Electrovoice on the left came with the HW-101 when i purchased it. It works extremely well with the old tube radio. The Kenwood MC-60 to the right is connected to the Kenwood TS-570 DG. The microphones go with the radios.
The SBE mic on the upper shelf was purchased off ebay to go with the SBE Console II it is next to.

Nice, and you are right! You do have some real antiques in your collection. In your avatar, I like that Motorola CB radio. I had 2 in my life & I must have sold them:( I like your setup!

that is a 14.6 inch laptop...lol
above it is a vhf hi maxtrac, a uhf spectra and an ontario hydro 99 channel lo band maxtrac.
there is a vhf spectra now in the shack in place of the hi band maxtrac.
the motorola cb in my avatar is in use in my van. it is a 23 channel mocat....
I enjoy the old rigs and the HW-101 sees some use in the shack.

Thanks for all the great replies. am trying to get some batteries together for emergency power and already have a 60 watt solar panel set up outside and cabled into the shack. i have one ups battery now and will be adding a couple deep cycle batteries to the mix. just have to find a way to keep them off the carpet...
