• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

Sites which have been discovered via a method such as Unitrunker's peer/neighbor sites listing (which is reported by other nearby P25 sites). Unitrunker will display the site zone, ID #, and primary control frequency, but no other info. However, they have not been fully mapped as to where they are located precisely, their call sign, or their full frequency listing.

I'm basing this on how I discovered Site 225 in this method while mapping other nearby towers. I have that site down to somewhere near Holly Grove, AR, but it is using a state of Arkansas 700 Mhz blanket license, so haven't fully found the tower location yet.

I'm not a database admin, but I am guessing they are set as statewide sites in the hopes somebody will discover their location and be able to map them.
