New Talkgroup/Rutland Twr./Mobiltech

Today I picked up what I believe is a new TalkGroup #137 off the Rutland Ny. Twr. This appears to be E but was able to receive
the following info....... Group # 137 RID 2000 Interm 01, and RID 2002 iris 03. Any thoughts or additional info would be
appreciated so that D/Base could updated. Thanks in advance.

Those RIDs and that TG are probably associated with the Indian River CSD or adjacent districts and buses that serve Ft. Drum and are all DE. You will still see RID and alias info on DE TGs. No way to get a positive ID on the users unless a radio alias is specific to a school or bus company.

Do you see any change in the Rutland Neighbor List? There should be a new site at Russell, in Jefferson County on the air and possibly 2 Town Highway Departments associated with it. TG185 appears to be Town of Hermon and TG186 may be another area Highway but all I got were 2 radio aliases while they were testing that were not specific.

Thank you for your reply - There is an addition to the Neighbour List for Rutland which shows up as
SITE R13-120 CC=41576 151.9700. However when I tune to that frequency the signal is too low to
capture any info, perhaps when summer comes I will receive a better signal allowing a decode. Would this frequency possibly be Russell Tower which you spoke of. ???.
I am periodically picking up TG-185 and do believe this is indeed the Town of Hermon Highways or Roads Dept.
Will keep an eye on it and let you know if more info is obtained.

151.970 would be Russell:

It would confirm the site if you get enough signal to determine the RAN - it should be 56.

I confirmed and submitted TG185 but looking for 186. I think there are also other Jefferson County Highway Departments that may show up on Rutland.

Thank you for the info and I have updated my Fastlane and will be watching for a better Russell signal to update
new finds and will also continue to monitor Rutland for any new TG's.
