Hi, Iam new to this scanner community, so please forgive me ahead of time of any dumb questions. If I purchased a scanner which one should I prurchase to listen to WSP, local cops, king county sherrif, paramedics, and so fourth? Can i get by with a pro97 or is that going to be outdated with digital technology and i better go with PRo 96? ANy news where Washington migth be heading? Im afraid that a new technology will come out and the PRO 96 will be outdated and ill be out some good money. Moreover, what do people mean when the refer to HAM and so fourth? Sorry, thanks to anyone who waste their time on these newbie questions.
