I have owned this old Pro 41 for decades. Although I haven't used it for a few years, I'm unable to program freqs like 483.26250. It will only accept freqs with 3 digits after the decimal point. Is this old scanner now obsolete? Help!

I had the pro 38 years ago I bought new which was the model the pro 41 replaced. if I remember correctly that's how this scanner takes in the frequency. you just enter say 460.400 and it should receive. I have a old uniden from 1987 that still receives analog freqs here in the Chicago burbs quite well. based on the database in your area I did not see any mention of digital so you may still be able to use your pro 41.

Try enter 483.260 or 483.265 it's only 2,5KHz off and shouldn't matter as the filter is wide enough and also when
it is analog it is not as picky as maybe digital channels might be that modulate constantly at full bandwitdh.
