I am updating my notes and was looking through the FCC database and came across a couple of frequencies that I am not totally sure what they are used for in Newtown, CT

158.8725 MHz?

154.1225 MHz (DPL 156) Newtown Fire/EMS Dispatch

Those 3 Licensed frequencies are not used in the system.

They do use a Non licensed business frequency for Fireground 9
151.635 DPL 261

If it was me I would use a licensed public safety frequency over a unlicensed business freq any day for life safety operations.
But that’s just me and I don’t have any info on why they do it that way.

Thanks for the info. That's kind of weird that use a licensed business frequency for fireground operations seems like that could be kind of dangerous.

Is the 151.635 the only unlicensed frequency that they are using?

Is 154.76250 the correct input frequency because in my notes from a while back I show 159.3675 MHz?
