Niagara county new york police base spacing of

Hello, My scanner a bcd796d says "ERROR" when I type in 400.000mhz as my Base frequency. It will only let me use 406.000mhz and up. The Spacing you said was 6.25. .I tried it and said "ERROR again. All other Spacing will work just not 6.25. Where we live its Digital p25 vhf trunked and i have no trouble at all programming the Base Spacing and Offset for that. Any other help would be greatly appreciated .Thank You

Try just programming the frequencies as whatever the 796D calls a P25 trunked system, and leave the base and offset blank.
