NiMH Maximum

I Just purchased the Uniden BR330T and it came with 2300 mAh NiMH rechargable batteries. I went to Wally World to purchase an extra set but all I could find was a minimum of 2500 mAh. Is it possible the scanner can only use the 2300's and that a stronger type will damage the radio?

NO. The 2500 Wal*Mart is the most popular with scannist. They saved 1cent per battery by supplying the 2300. Total savings for Uniden=4cents.

The higher rating only means they will last longer.

Before you buy them, Duracell has a pack of 8 2650Mah AAs. I think the batteries are actually like a 1/25th of an inch longer than my 1800Mah batteries

I picked up the Duracell 2650Mah AAs last week @ Walmart & they are working well in my Uniden BR330T.
