Please help !!! Trying to hook my SDR RSP1 receiver along with sdr# software and and a copy of dsd+. When I start up dsd+ I see the data info on the screen scrolling whenever there is an active signal but unfortunately no actual DMR audio even when I can hear the DMR audio on my seperate DMR scanner …any ideas ? Trust I must have the inputs / outputs etc correct for the dsd+ software to be still hearing / reading the data ?

any help would be so much appreciated. Thanks .

Thanks so much and sorry for the slight delay in getting back to you .

okay still having issues with the data displaying within the dsd+ Screen but no actual decoded speech when I know for sure it is actual speech as opposed to just a data signal, but……from looking at my audio devices on my windows 10 pc I just happened to notice that when there should have been decoded speech the little bar graph for the default communication device lights up but stays unlit during just data.

guessing I must have the input / outputs wrong in that the audio from that particular device is not selected as the correct one . Unfortunately getting a bit too tech for me !!E7982869-F744-474E-AB81-19DD1F9CC7AC.jpeg

Don't believe public release has that drop menu, type a ? In the dsdplus command window, it will list a menu of commands

okay thanks will post a screenshot up in a minute thanks . Still feel sure my actual audio settings could be wrong and the actual decoded audio has no device to send its sound to hence it just showing up on bar graph display within pc audio settings .

@Jono400 - I assumed you had DSDPlus Fast Lane. That was a bad assumption on my part. If at some point you do upgrade to Fast Lane, you can use FMPP with your RSP1 and skip the SDR# application. My RSP1/Fast Lane combination runs 24/7 decoding signals of interest.

DSDPlus Fast Lane includes several tuner tools (copied from @dave3825).
FMP24.exe RTL SDR tuner/demodulator
FMPA.exe Airspy tuner/demodulator
FMPP.exe SDRPlay tuner/demodulator

No probs good news is finally have decoded voice . Made the default comms device the default and everything is working !!! Thanks so much guys.

what benefits would the dsd plus fast lane give me over the standard dsd+ ?

No worries again thanks guys.

is there any settings within the free version or within sdr# that will clean up the decoded audio as must admitt it’s fairly hard to understand at times ! Probably been spoiled with having a true dmr ha die to listen in to dmr and appreciate the pc will never be as good but be interesting to hear your thoughts, suggestions on this ?

Proper bandwidth for digital modes is --

NXDN48: 4.00 bandwidth:
NXDN96 / DMR: 7.6 bandwidth:
P25 P1 (non-simulcast): 9.5 bandwidth:
P25 P2 or P1 simulcast systems: 12.5 bandwidth:

Okay thanks it’s just standard DMR audio that I want to listen to..guess 12.5 bandwidth I best ?
