Haven't used DSD+ in a while and am a little rusty. I wanna just tune around with FMPA and listen to conventional frequencies with one AirSpy. How come the following gives me 2 console windows but no event log window:

Code:
START FMPA -i1 -o20002 -f442.6 -wsl321.3 -b9.5 -L10 -M10 -V10 >FMP24-Conventional.log

START DSDPlus -i20002 -v2 >VC-Conventional.log -rv

Did you changed your resolution or monitor? Maybe the window is just outside of your monitor boundaries. Try to set manual location, just like you do with your FMPA window and see if i shows up.

You could also delete your dsdplus.bin file... I've had to do that a time or two. You won't lose any of your systems data or anything like that.

The event log window is probably just minimized. Click on it in the taskbar.

Deleting the .bin file messes up too much stuff - window locations/sizes, auto update checking, ...

Well, it's not showing up for some reason. Here's a screenshot. The Windows resolution is at 1280 x 720. If I set it to 1920 x 1080, then the Event Log magically shows up. But setting it back to 1280 x 720 and it disappears.

Thanks. Well, 1920 x 1080 makes everything in Windows awfully small and hard to read. I also can't get it to remember the FMPA scope window position. And I know there's a way to make the console windows minimize at startup, but can't figure what numbers go in the -_ argument.

In Windows itself and in most Windows programs, you should be able to adjust text sizes.

Start / Settings / Display / Scale and layout for starters.

I also can't get it to remember the FMPA scope window position.
-wsl<v>.<h> Spectrum window location [-wsl50.50]

Just minimize them and they'll be that way the next time you start DSD+.
